Petro-Canada’s low temperature natural gas compressor fluids NG CompOil AW 150 and 220 are specially designed for use in the frame and cylinders/packings of reciprocating compressors in natural gas production and service. They are intended for the compression of sweet, mostly light hydrocarbon gases at low pressure <2000 psig. With excellent water separation and anti-wear properties, they provide an excellent alternative to stationary gas engine oils which are often used when the frame and cylinders share a common lubriCant reservoir. This mineral oil based fluid has excellent low temperature properties for cold starts where heating is not available.
