Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Series is a multi-purpose commercial vehicle grease family designed for high performance extreme-pressure protection. These products are formulated with an advanced thickener formulation for extended service capabilities, helping give peace of mind especially when re-application is difficult or limited. Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease & Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Moly 2 are NLGI Grade 2, while Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Moly 1 is NLGI Grade 1. Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease is manufactured with a proprietary, high-temperature lithium complex thickener system. It exhibits excellent resistance to softening under severe working conditions and provides good adhesion and cohesion. An extreme-pressure additive provides exceptional protection against wear and shock loads, while additional additives enhance resistance to high-temperature oxidation and protection against rust. Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Moly 1 & 2 are both manufactured with a proprietary, high-temperature lithium complex thickener system. A 2-phase extreme-pressure additive system provides exceptional protection against wear and shock loads, while additional additives enhance resistance to high-temperature oxidation and protection against rust. These heavy-duty, severeservice greases have outstanding structural stability and chemical stability, will not corrode steel or copper bearing alloys, and are compatible with conventional seal materials. Mobil Delvac Xtreme Greases are recommended for use in heavy-duty truck applications requiring high extreme pressure protection, especially hinge and bucket pins, and fifth wheels. They are also recommended for agriculture, construction and mining sector applications, particularly for the lubrication of plain and antifriction bearings in construction and mining vehicles working under severe operating and weather conditions requiring up to 3% moly (that is, molybdenum disulfide). Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Moly 1 and Moly 2 are fortified with 3% moly (that is, molybdenum disulfide) to provide enhanced Extreme Pressure (EP) and Anti-wear (AW) protection in heavily loaded and high sliding applications. The recommended application temperature range for Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Moly 2 is -20º C to +145º C, Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease Moly 1 is a winter-grade product and is recommended for cold-temperature service.
