Havoline® Full Synthetic CVT Fluid is designed for modern continuously variable transmissions (CVTs), which rely on high steel-on-steel friction between either a belt or chain and pulleys to transfer power. Havoline Full Synthetic CVT Fluid contains anti-wear and anti-shudder additives, as well as long-life friction modifiers to effectively maintain the steel-on-steel friction to help prevent slipping, as well as premature wear and hot spots at the interface. It is formulated with premium, full synthetic base stocks and shearstable viscosity modifiers that provide greater performance benefits at extreme operating temperatures compared to part synthetic and conventional mineral-based fluids.
