Castrol Iloform® CFX 25 is a premium low viscosity neat forming oil. It is based on a novel high performance, extreme pressure and lubricity additive package that provides excellent performance without the use of chlorinated additives.
Features
- Formulated without chlorinated paraffins which may help to fulfil aspects of legislative and waste treaent requirements that specify that these chemicals are excluded
- Contains innovative high performance extreme pressure additive package to significantly increase die life, to provide excellent surface finish and to minimise costs associated with die repolishing
- Excellent detergency supports removal of metallic fines and particles from dies, eliminating defects associated with particulates which results in improved surface finish, reduced scrap rate and rework costs
- Low viscosity maximises flushing effect on dies to aid removal of particulates and reduces drag out, hence reduces product consumption
- Reduces waste disposal cost and minimises corrosion risk compared to chlorinated oils
- Mild odour improves operator acceptance
- Easily filtered in service to extend service life
- Can be removed by using alkaline process cleaners, also available from Castrol
