Castrol Braycote 1728 is a smooth, buttery, translucent NLGI #2 grease. It is based upon a low molecular weight perfluorinated polyether oil and a tetrafluoroethylene gelling agent. Braycote 1728 is nonflammable, chemically, chemically inert to strong acids and alkalies, and is oxidizer compatible. Castrol Fluoroclean X100 and Castrol Fluoroclean HE can be used to remove this lubricant. Refer to the data sheets for Fluoroclean X100 and Fluoroclean HE for information regarding these products.
